A third generation local company.

Oahu Battery Sales and Service was established in 1945 by Mr. Henry Y. Mizumoto (1910-2010) at  small shop on Kamehameha highway in Pearl City. Rebuilding  automobile batteries and refurbishing used surplus furniture.

Continuing to distribute rebuilt auto batteries and reconditioned  household furniture and appliances and also establishing  a distribution relationship with the Trojan Battery Company for automotive batteries.

In 1972 Oahu Battery Sales and Service became a  Corporation in the State Of Hawaii and Mr. Mizumoto named his son Mr. Clifford K. Mizumoto as vice president and general manager, specializing in sales and service of golf carts, Automotive Marine and Deep Cycle batteries.

In 1985 Oahu Battery Sales and Service, Inc.  was appointed to represent Taylor Dunn Manufacturing Co. Anaheim Ca. to distribute and service their products which includes electric flat bed vehicles, commercial and industrial electric carts and tow tractors.

Mr. Travis Mizumoto (Clifford’s son)started his career at Oahu Battery in 2000 was appointed vice president and service department manager in 2010.
